Production Needs
The RDX is a standalone machine that inserts, programs, verifies and edits all in a single pass. By combining an introductory machine price with production level throughput, it allows label converters to comply with the Walmart RFID mandate. Additionally, the ability to use as a slitter when RFID work is low ensures that spindles are always turning.
Strengths
Our solution offers RFID insertion, programming and editing, with a convenient finishing arm viewing box after the web buffer for defective inlay removal and vacuum inlay placement to ensure accuracy. The system is manufactured in-house for improved performance of SGTIN96 for the EPC, as required by Walmart’s mandate, and delivers the capability of a full finishing line at the cost of a high-end slitter.
Other features
The system provides slitting up to 274 m/min and supports single-lane widths up to 355 mm, featuring a razor or shear slitting station with an offline setup fixture. It also ensures real-time antenna and integrated circuit validation for maximum reliability.

The system includes a side-shifting unwind, a roll lift for easy handling, and a slip differential rewind to ensure smooth and precise operation.
